Command sleep manual

NAME

sleep - delay for a specified amount of time

SYNOPSIS

sleep [number][optional suffix]

DESCRIPTION

sleep pauses the system for the specified time limit. The suffix may be s for seconds (the default), m for minutes, h for hours, or d for days. The number specified can only be an integer.

OPTIONS

  • --help: prints the help for this command in the terminal
